Make-Ahead Campfire Calzones
Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough store-bought or homemade
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup cooked and crumbled Italian sausage
- 1 cup chopped vegetables bell peppers, onions, mushrooms
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Optional: grated Parmesan cheese red pepper flakes
Instructions
- At home, preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Divide pizza dough into 6 portions and roll each into a circle.
- On one half of each circle, layer sauce, cheese, sausage, and vegetables.
