Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Ingredients
  

  • 3 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 8 hamburger buns
  • Coleslaw optional

Instructions
 

  • At home, mix dry spices and rub over pork shoulder.
  • Place pork in slow cooker with chicken broth.
  • Cook on low for 8 hours or until tender.
  • Shred pork and mix with barbecue sauce.
  • Cool and store in an airtight container.
  • At campsite, reheat in a pot over campfire or camp stove.
  • Serve on buns with coleslaw if desired.
