Ingredients
  

  • 4 pita breads cut in half to form pockets
  • 8 large eggs scrambled
  • 1 cup cooked breakfast sausage or bacon diced
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup salsa

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your campfire grill or set up a campfire with a grate over the flames.
  • Place the pita bread halves on the grill or grate to warm them up.
  • In a skillet or cast-iron pan, scramble the eggs over the campfire until they are cooked to your desired consistency.
  • Once the eggs are cooked, remove them from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, heat the cooked breakfast sausage or bacon until warmed through.
  • Stuff each warmed pita pocket with scrambled eggs, cooked sausage or bacon, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and salsa.
